this one character i love like spock. Of course they wanted this reaction from
trekkies. I do love data for he gives life in apart of tng that they couldn't fill.
only for spock this position was left and data filled his shoes. Twangle

The only thing that bothers me is -- wouldn't they have sorted this out when he applied to the Academy, 20 years ago? I mean, what did they do then? Someone would have had to rule that he was a sentient being.

But it is one of the Best episodes still.
